aarya♡~ (aarya_) | 34 comments -listen to music while you read( you can search playlist for reading on Spotify or yt)
-you can make goals on how much page you wanna read daily if you have to finish within 2 months
- try having less screen time so you can actually read the book
- donot look at the last page or even length of how much you finish and panic. just go with the flow
enjoy reading<3

Manequin | 28 comments take your time. it doesn't matter if it takes months. savour each moment. whats the use of reading if you don't enjoy it? so read only when you can or are in the mood. coming to tips , maybe keep a goal of number of chapters you'll read every day. but again , depends on your mood.

Sanvi Rai | 87 comments Find an audiobook and listen to that while reading the book. You can use apps like Libby that only require a library card

I do this! It helps a lot to keep my focus and stay engaged.

quietpageturner | 113 comments I alternate between physical, kindle, and audio. I usually listen when I'm cleaning or journaling to help pass time

Mariana Ribeirosa | 2 comments What I did when I had to read an entire book for example to school, is I sectioned the book in every 100 pages

So imagine I was assigned a book that is due next week
The book has 600 pages

I’d put a sticky note on page 100 one in page 200 and so on

I know for a fact that in one sitting I read 30 pages so I would take 3 specific hours of my day to read about 30-33 pages

Onm to school (1hr) id read 33 pages
After lunch I’d read for an hour 33 pages
And before going to sleep (1hr) 34 pages

And every time you accomplish 100 pages you can take off one sticky note so you feel like you accomplished your goal and as easy as that you’ve read a long book in a week

It obviously varies from person to person but yeah.. you can also adapt this and read each section in a week then you have a book every month, for even slower readers or or read 2 sections per day for faster results 💁🏻‍♀️ but don’t do this if you really want to enjoy a book 🤓

John | 13 comments Set little goals like for example make a goal to read 10 pages and when u complete that the do 15 pages and just keep adding 5 pages at a time.

And It does not matter how long it takes u to read. Just enjoy the book

Dale Pearl (hollowman777) This is my speciality.
1) read more than one book at a time
2) when the book gets slow or "boring" put it down and read another
3) when you return to the book read out loud
4) listen via audio file
5) take notes as you read
6) break the amount of non stop reading down into bite sized chunks. 30 minutes/10 pages at a time.
7) overtime allow yourself to read faster but only until you feel comfortable with the pace.

Sonja | 115 comments I like taking my time with books. Sometimes I like to read too quickly to get to the next thing, but then I miss stuff. Take your time. Maybe go to bed early and spend an hour before sleeping to read. If you read every day or every second day it'll become a habit. I can't go to sleep without reading, unless I'm exhausted which is helping me sleep better.
