Readalong Schedule

The Readalong will take place over 15 weeks, averaging out at about 5 chapters/70 pages a week. We hope this will be a fun and not-too-arduous pace to read this beast of a book on top your other life commitments. If you feel it may be too slow for you, please feel free to read ahead, but keep to the chapters scheduled for discussion each week. Chat about future-scheduled chapters should be kept to ⁠the appropriate topic channels.
We have rounded up to finish on chapter numbers rather than page numbers in order to account for different editions, and to finish Volumes 1 and 2 at the end of a week rather than in the middle, for (hopefully) the good of discussion.
All section page counts have been worked out using the 2005 UK paperback edition (1006 pages).

The Schedule
The Readalong will start on the week commencing Monday 2nd September, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication month of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. It will continue for 15 weeks, with the final chapter being read during the week commencing Monday 9th December.
