I haven't checked the SS the past few days, but I'll look at it today or tomorrow to check if I also updated everything from my recent reads. I'm finding less and less fitting monsters and weapons in the books now, but I'm reading at least two that are a bit longer that are already on the SS.

Typhon was known as the “Father of All Monsters.” He was birthed from Gaia (the earth) and Tartarus (the depths of hell). He was said to have been the most ferocious creature ever to roam the earth. Typhon was massive.
Just dodge what needs dodging, focus his legs with your strongest attacks, and you'll be just fine.
1. Read a book where the MC is a huge guy physically
2. Read a book with legs on the cover
3. Read a book with a nasty (your interpretation) villain.
4. Read a book that with "enormous" in the text

Pontianak is the dangerous spirit of a woman which is from Malay and Indonesian mythology. They are women who died during childbirth, and are also known as vampiric ghosts. They are active at night, while during the day, the Pontianak spirit resides inside banana trees.
To fend off a Pontianak you must plunge a nail into her neck. It is said as long as the nail is there, she will become a good wife, until the nail is removed.
1. Read a book with a woman on the cover, Or
2. Read a book with the letters of NAIL in the title, Or
3. Read a book with a female ghost
4. Read a book with "iron" in the text

A Gorgon is a magical monster originating from Greek mythology and has existed in the earliest examples of Greek literature. This malevolent creature appears to be a female humanoid, but where human women have hair growing from their heads, Gorgons instead have living, writhing, venomous snakes growing from their scalps.
The best way to take a gorgon on is to wear a blindfold, equip decent armor, use a powerful sword, and take her on. In addition to this, it is recommended that one should bring many buckets of milk, should they get poisoned by her attacks.
1. Read a book with the word "Milk" in the text
2. Read a book with an MPG of Mythology
3. Read a book with 3 sisters.
4. Read a book where a character is poisoned

I'm not sure if the one I'm thinking for my book counts. I do have a special edition of it that isn't listed separately from the normal one, and the cover of the normal one has a girl on it, but my cover has a boy on it 🤔 I guess even if it did count, it would feel wrong for me so I'll need to find something else 😅
I don’t have anything that fits gorgon yet. But do you think we can read the same book for both? Or not?
you can use your free pass, but otherwise I don't know if you can use one book for both 🤔 I imagine not, but better ask Namita.
I ended up finding two books, but only one is on my physical TBR 😅 At least the ebook isn't very big 😅
👍🏼 I just finished my book too, onto the next task xD I just keep reading books rn I didn't think I'd get to read this year, but I'm not complaining 🤣 That's what I like about reading challenges anyways
I’m reading 3 books at the momentOne has crossbows/bows
Ones vampires
No clue on the last at the moment

Berserker, Norwegian berserk, Old Norse berserkr (“bearskin”), in premedieval and medieval Norse and Germanic history and folklore, a member of unruly warrior gangs that worshipped Odin, the supreme Norse deity, and attached themselves to royal and noble courts as bodyguards and shock troops.
A good general strategy is to continuously impale the Berserker with spears, before using some heavy artillery.
1. Read a book where a character is impaled.
2. Read a book starting with the letter "B"
3. Read a book with MPG of Norse Mythology
4. Read a book tagged War
Challenge ends Nov 3th
I'm thinking about using my pass for this one, since I'll probably not make the Deadline. I'm not sure yet though, gonna wait until Friday to decide because it depends on if I can finish a book I'm reading for the Disney Challenge until friday.
I got a 16 hour travel ahead on friday so maybe I'll be able to read it then. Not sure if my travel sickness lets me but maybe I'll buy the audio 😅But those last 3 bonus monsters were very unfortunate timing-wise for me 😅
oh sorry I didnt see the earlier message, thank you and happy thanksgiving, though we don't really celebrate it were I live xD
