I have such a specific niche for wlw books atm! I absolutely love the historical wlw books. One of my favs of all time is the seven husbands of evelyn hugo and i just finished reading Carol for the first time and it was wonderful! Any more recommendations for this sort of thing would be much appreciated!! 🧍♀️

A lady's desire by Lily Maxton, My lady's lover by Nicola Davidson. The "odd girl out" series by ann bannon are lesbian pulp novels from the 50s. "The consort" by Melissa Addey.
Crossing the Wide Forever is a great historical wlw!
Last year I read a book called The Perks of Loving a Wallflower by Erica Ridley and it was so good! It’s the third book I believe in a series that follows a family of misfits (loosely similar to The Umbrella Academy in the way that they were all adopted and work together as a team to do missions). They’re all romance novels, and you don’t have to read all of them to understand the context as things are explained pretty well. I didn’t know what to expect, but I loved it!
