Tell about what happened in the story...
Benson is about to go into surgery and everybody is worried. He gets his hair shaved off and watches tv. The doctor thinks this is strange for somebody who is going into surgery. She makes him take another test and she leaves. (Truthfully that little bit was a lot of pages).

What is the surgery fails? What if he has another black out and hurts somebody else? What if he doesn't even need surgery anymore? Is this all for publicity?

My favorite part was when he had to take that test. They were such weird questions: 'Are you in a yellow mood or an orange mood?'

Describe a part that surprised you...
It surprised me when Benson said he was nervous about tomorrow. He was acting perfectly fine. He even made some jokes. Yet he admitted he was scared. Weird.

I think during the surgery he will not be 'knocked out' long enough and end up waking up. Thus attempting to kill the surgeons.

The zombie like dearth that came from the dirt really confused me. He feeds off dirt ato grow strong and knows Leven some how personally but they have never met. It really confuses me because he was one creature that the author did not explain to me.

I was suprised when Leven took some one hostage. I never knew Leven had enough anger to do that. And got the truth out of him by using weapons.

I think the Dearth will grow powerful enough to hunt Leven. Leven will have to try and stay alive with the help of Geth and Winter. And they are all able to kill unlike their enemys.

Geth took the hostage to the egg people to inprison him. They are going to keep him there untell they get all they need from other people. He could ruin their plans if he was left unguarded.

Tell what happened in the story...
So basically, a kid named Martin is sent to this school called Edgeview. This school is a "dead end" to the students. The students there are kids with "problems" like arson and being a constant disruption to class. Martin is there for being super disrespectful to the staff and has been expelled at three schools because of it. His roommate is named Torchie. Guess why? Because he sets anything on fire, but no one has any proof that he does it. So Torchie is giving him a tour: Which teachers are cool, who to avoid, and what not to do unless you want to get killed. The basic stuff to teach a new kid. Anyway, Torchie introduces him to another kid: Cheater. His nickname is self-explanitory. He's super smart and knows everything, but he would always be accused of cheating. That doesn't really make sense, but everyone else says its true since he has the same answers as someone else on tests. This school is just full of weirdos.

A kid named Lucky, a boy who finds a lot of things by chance, like money, squirt guns, and other random items, is always saying that he doesn't steal any of the things he finds. So why is he finding all these random things to the point others are saying he stole? How is he doing it? Is he really stealing them? Or is it that he's "lucky" as his nickname says?
Does it bother him that he's finding all these items on the ground? Does he realize that he's a bit luckier than others?

Describe your favorite part...
So Martin has noticed something was strange about Torchie, Lucky, Flinch, and Cheater. Torchie can randomly set things on fire "magically", Lucky has a nack for finding things, Flinch has inhuman reflexes, and Cheater can write down answers that someone else has without cheating. Martin goes to the library to find an explaination of these reasons. Then he found the answer: They all have psychic powers. Torchie is a telepyric- he can set things on fire by thinking about it, Lucky has some sort of power that lets hin know where objects are, Flinch can see into the future- that's why he can dodge everything, and Cheater can read minds. I thought that was really cool. Too bad the guys don't believe him.

Describe a part that surprised you...
What really surprised me was that Bloodbath, the school bully, is actually smart enough to scheme up a plan to ruin the school inspection. I mean, Bloodbath is a regular bully: beats everyone up, ignoring the teachers, and just plain stupid. So how can he create a plan to shut down the whole school? He probably got help, since he could intimedate anyone just by his presence. How is Martin and the gang going to stop a stupid bully and his "brilliant" plan?

I think this is meaningful because Martin is saying that everyone is unique in their own way, even though it doesn't mean everyone has super powers. He's saying we all are good at something, even though we may not know it yet. Martin has recently discovered his own powers: knowing about the weak personal points of a person and striking at it with his words. He's so good at it, he got expelled at three schools because of it, and he didn't realize it was his talent. Know he knows and he knows there's a price to pay, like keeping it secret and practicing and controlling it. Martin is saying that everyone has something special in them.

Describe what happened
Since julie's mom is in the wild she needs to save her. So Julie goes back home and gets all the magical items she can find, most of the stuff is in the linen closet. Julie stuff all of it in a back pack and puts on a pair of magical boots. on her way to the wild she stops at Gillians house to say good bye. Gillian follows Julie to the wild. Julie doesn't want Gillian to come with her because the wild is very dangerous. Gillian digs through Julie's pack to see what she is bringing. She finds a trumpet. There are guards in front of the wild, bears, hogs, and lions. Gillian distracts them with the trumpet and they start to dance. Gillian wishes good luck to julie and She enters the wild. Part 2: As Julie is riding her bike kicks her off and speeds away. This was because of the magical boots. She walks some more and comes across Little red, or what looked to be little red. It was a 40 year old woman in business cloths with a red cloak. The wild had made her the new red riding hood. The Old red riding hood Sees julie's backpack and thinks it is her basket. She grabs it and takes it from Julie. She tries to get it back then Red yells "WOLF!" Julie releases the backpack as she hears growls. she runs then looks back no one is following her. "I am lost with no supplies"

Describe a part that surprised you
When julie saw Red, but it turned out to be a fourty year old woman. That Scared me..... Seriously think about it if you went up t one of your friends and they were some strange person when they turned around.

When Gillian played the trumpet to distract the guards so julie could enter the wild. Since I play two musical instruments I was interested to see how many musical terms the author used. She used some terms but not very fancy ones and are not worth listing.

Describe a confusing part
When Julie was about to enter the wild she didn't want Gillian to come then in the book it said she wanted her to come at the last second then she didn't. But gillian didn't respond and there where no italics or indications of thinking in her mind that Gillian should come.

In the last part I read Julie said to her self "The wild's out to get me." I believe this is true and another fairy tale character is going to mess with Julie to keep her from finding her mom.

Tally has now become a pretty, that means she finally had the operation to make her beautiful. She find that life is not Boring but not fun either. She is trying to remember life as an ugly, when she meets Croy, a guy who lived at the Smoke with her.

I wonder why Croy won't just tell her about the pills and the lesions? Why won't Shay Understand that Tally had to split the pill with Zane cause there was no one else.
