Storm The Gremlin Child So I have a gf. Well she has mental health issues and her schizophrenia is getting bad again. I have a med induced psychosis so I kinda get it. It hurts and I feel like a shitty bf (I am trans masc) because I can't be there in person for her and to make sure she is safe. I don't think she can tell what is reality anymore and it hurts because I want her to know I am real.

Can I just get some support

Alexandra⋅˚₊‧ ❀ ‧₊˚ ⋅ I’m really sorry. As much as it might hurt or feel like you’re breaking trust, you should tell her doctor she’s getting worse if she refuses to tell them. I’m so sorry you’re in this situation.

I don't know who her doctor is though.

Oumeima | 6 comments I guess just you thinking this is maling you a good boyfriend, actually a good person in general.
Try to be there for her and reassure her, remind her of your memories, convos, pictures, songs… anything so yoi could bring her to life and to know reality.
You’re doing a really good job and dnt let yourself feel down you have to be strong for you both.
Sending you love

Ty its just difficult since we are online

Lucy👸🏼 | 24 comments Gosh, I’m so sorry. It sounds like a really difficult situation. I know you’ve said you can’t see her in person. Can you call her or voice-note her? That might be more personal than texting. But if you can only text, just say exactly what you would like to hear if you were in that situation. (That’s usually how I navigate everything.)

Farah Higuera | 36 comments I understand! It’s hard to accept and deal with such illness specially when they are as strong as that! The best thing you could do for her is follow her physiatrist instructions and just be there when she needs you! I’m sorry that wasn’t much help but there isn’t much one can do when it comes to such horrible illnesses I hope she gets better and I will add her to my prayers 🫶🏼

Storm The Gremlin Child Thank you Farah. Ya it is difficult. I actually deal with my own illness that causes hallucinations. I have a med induced psychosis and I am on heavy meds to cope
