There are UK and US versions. The UK Kindle and Hardcover editions were published on Oct. 3rd but the US editions (Willam Morrow publishers) were published on Oct. 19th.This is the UK Kindle edition:

The original publication date is the 3rd of October, 2019 - as proof, here's the Amazon page for the book and a blog post from the author's website that references the 3rd of October 2019 as the date the book dropped:
