15.5 - Oh No, Not Again...

Pandemic is, as the name suggests, a board game about working together to stop a global pandemic. Designed in the wake of the 2002 SARS outbreak, it's become one of the most successful mainstream co-operative boardgames, with multiple spin-offs and a legacy campaign edition of the game. Somehow, the reality of the Covid-19 pandemic in the early part of this decade didn't dull its popularity!

Read a book first published in 2002 or 2020.

Trish (trishhartuk) | 3675 comments I know I've asked this before, but I've tried searching the group messages and faq, and can't find the answer.

I have a book I want to use for this task: Gobbelino London & A Complication of Unicorns. However, not a single edition of the book says First Published.

They all just say Published, although the kindle and two PBs are all consistent at August 2020.

Can I use it here?

Irritatingly enough, I can't see the publication metadata on GR mobile. I'll take a closer look once I'm back home tomorrow - if in the meantime you can find first publication info and get a Librarian to add it, you're golden. If not then I'm sure we'll figure something out once I check the rules.

Thanks, Kathy! That solves that problem then, you're fine to use it, Trish.
