He gently rocked Apollo back and forth, softly humming a calming yet melancholic tune.
They sat down on the floor, shaking.

She shut her eyes, wrapping her arms around her.
She tried taking a deep breath, struggling.
missy sits in front of isa, holding her hands
Her breathing was shaky, but she still struggled.
Jaz kept humming and rocking the kid, expression distant.
Apollo had stopped screaming and crying, close to falling back to sleep. Isabella wanted to curl up, although she stayed sitting down.
They shut their eyes, ``i want cuddles``
She sat on her lap, staying close to her.
Still zoned out, he mumbled the lyrics to whatever he’d been humming.“She got the call,
And then she threw her jacket on…
And stormed off down the hall…
They got the call,
And picked him up at 4 AM…
And tore off down the road…”
Apollo had fallen asleep, drooling.
