(Yeah. Also, Atsushi's PTSD manifests in far more ways than flashing back to the same moment, the Azure Apostle arc was supposed to be Dazai's entrance exam [and they flattened the main antagonist for the arc, ofc], and they destroyed 15)

(Well, the PTSD thing was prolly for ease of animation, they wanted to shove Dazai’s Entrance Exam in there somehow [could’ve done what they did with Dark Era] but also misogyny, and Dazai’s the moneymaker sexyman for them, so they haaaave to make him seem attractive at all times [it’s a MASSIVE problem] EVEN WHEN HE’S 15)
((Still stupid but what’s done is done not much that can be changed now they even did it when he was 15 that’s evil))
(Yeah, unfortunately. Can say that the manga and light novel are waaaaaay better about it, he genuinely looks like a child in the manga and feels more like one in the light novel, albeit a child who was forced to grow up too fast)(view spoiler)

Kay sinks to the floor holding him to his chest as he whispers "c.c.cazzo"
He's alive, at least, and seems like he'll stay that way.
Kay shakes holding him whispers "p.pplease don't leave me alone in this world jaz..." tears falling down his cheeks
"Mmgh..."
He shakes whispering "please..amour..please"
"...Huh...?"he blinked groggily.
Kay shakes trying to focus whispering "s.s.s.hhh.i'm here now.."
"Hey, hey..."He cupped Kay's cheek.
Kay has tears flow down his cheeks shaking
"It's alright... you're safe now..."
He nods whispering "i.i.i. hurt him though.." he says blaming himself for everything like usual
"No, no..."
he whispers "i h.h.hurt him amour...i killed him.." he says going frantic scared
"No... let's get you calmed down so we can talk about it..."
Kay shakes holding onto jaz "i.i.i. killed pablo"
"Hey, no..."He stroked Kay's cheek.
Kay looks at him in the eyes his eyes were dull but had small sparks
"C'mon... we'll sort out what really happened, okay...?"
he nods "o.o..okay"
Jaz manages to get to his feet, using the wall so he doesn't topple over."Damn, gotta get used to this again..."

Jaz doesn't say anything, but it's pretty clear that he's uncomfortable accepting help. Regardless, he manages to grab a couple mugs and start the kettle.
He whispers moving noticing this whispering "s.s.s.orry" he stutters scared
"Don't worry..."a tea bag is dropped into each mug, then covered with water.
he nods watching him whispering "i'm just so used someone needing my help...even if it was to hurt me.."

(He was always taught as a child that he had to be useful to be worthy of even existing, that he didn't deserve to be helped)
