kay opens her eyes and mutters "yes,my little bird" she says while shivers

kay mutters "oh,it must be a fever" she says,blinking hoping its not but it is a fever
River got up, stumbling towards the kitchen.
kay shivers while coughs and mutters "Most likely explains my lack of anything,"
``I-I'll get you a um.....towel...``
"I'm fine my little bird,like usual" she says not wanting to be worried about
``N-No your not`` She chokes out, speaking even though it hurt to do so.
kay gets up wobbly and mutters "see,i'm fine totally not dizzy and lightheaded"
``y-your wob-`` She got cut off, coughing.
kay walks to river and gently picks her up and holds her "No,u need to rest sis"
"I.i.i.i'll be fine,like usual like i stated before my little bird" she sits back down holding river close to herself
She whimpered, struggling to breathe without coughing.
kay lets go scared
Kay mutters as she grabs a whiteboard and a marker "Don't talk just white sis"
Kay nofs and hands river the marker as the fever worsens
She wrote, 'Your getting warmer...'
"Im fine, like usual sis" kay mutters clearly not fine(I will ttyl hopefully)
“You need to stop pretending like everything’s fine when it’s not…”
She tried getting up again, stuck.
“You alright…?”
She nodded, writing on the whiteboard. 'Stuck'
He picked her up.“There,”
“Wanna go to sleep?”
“Here we go…”He started carrying her to her room.
She just yawned, curling up into a ball.
He smiled softly.
He set her down on the bed.
She almost immediately fell asleep as her head hit the pillow.
(I found my art from two years ago… the faces were so weird and long 💀)“Aww,”
He stroked her hair.
(lol)She didnt make a noise, her chest rising and falling as she slept.
He watches over her.(Like- look at this- he got my signature 2023 banana face and the proportions of an adult… dude’s built like a 6 y/o canonically)

(I bet)She stayed asleep for a few hours, a small frown plastered on her face as she slept.
He stayed nearby in case he was needed.(This is less than two years’ difference)
