you guys I just read You Can't Spell Treason Without Tea and it's a super cosy cute lesbian romantasy between a Queens Guard and a Mage so I would rec that along with Legends & Lattes (same vibe) and Paladin's Grace by T Kingfisher... actually all T Kingfisher is autumn vibes
ok lowkey wuthering heights. i dont know if that's more winter but i read it in the fall and i think it fits the season
I love fall, and spooky/fall setting/ halloween books are my favorite. I am very excited to recommend anything and everything: the Saturday night ghost club, the October country, a night in the lonesome october, the autumnal (graphic novel if you are into it), coraline (or any other Neil Gaiman for that matter) , and any rereads from when you were a kid (like those books the teachers would read and then you'd do an art project based on it, think "the little old lady who was not afraid of anything" or the halloween tree). That last one especially helped me get back into reading after college. Also- check out displays at the library (in the kids section ESPECIALLY) because they will always have good fall themed finds.
Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman!!!! and the movie right after. those are my traditions every year!!!
The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore is literally inspired by GG and it’s so adorable! Cute little cozy mystery romance and the second book comes out so soon! 🧡
