A Court of Thorns and Roses question

We started reading the books a couple of years ago, but neither of us can remember any of the titles or the author of the series. Hopefully someone can help. As far as we can remember it was a young adult fantasy series, with romantic tones. The main character was a young girl with red? hair. She was born of elders blood and had some power associated with this that wasnt fully awakened as the series started. Possibly in relation to Fenrir as I recall fire and thinking of wolves?. She was traveling with a group of people, one of which was one of her love interests which was a blonde knight? She had another love interest that was a bird winged demon guy that appeared to her in her dreams. There was some kind of war starting and a competition by the king in a faraway land she was attending with her party. Maybe at one point in the book she walked through a painting of her and her mother?
