Shera was now thinking on what to do for her future time, but she needed to focus on watching them spar.
Tarelle nearly had Cade pinned when he flipped her over and pinned her. He rose with a triumphant smile. Tarelle shook her head and rolled her eyes, moving to the side and starting to unwrap her hands. Cade grabbed a towel and wiped off his face, and then his chest. He turned to Lark and Shera. "Either of you want to go a round?" he teased, smirking.
Shera did the UH look. She wasn't in that level for that type of sparring. She was in the beginners stage of sparring.
Lark shook her head vehemently. Cade smirked. "Chicken."
Lark glared and stood up, moving over to a cabinet and pulling out some wraps. "A lark is not a chicken, and neither am I."
Cade grinned and then gave her a look. "No powers," he reminded her.
She stuck her tongue out at him and started wrapping her hands.
Lark glared and stood up, moving over to a cabinet and pulling out some wraps. "A lark is not a chicken, and neither am I."
Cade grinned and then gave her a look. "No powers," he reminded her.
She stuck her tongue out at him and started wrapping her hands.
'Yikes! Can't use powers for training!' Shera thought as she watched them train.
They faced off. Lark knew before she even started that she would lose, but he could get away with calling her a chicken. She tried her hardest to focus on his eyes and his hands, but his sweaty chest kept catching her eyes. Then he flipped her over, and she felt herself falling with a thud to the mat, him on top of her, grinning. She huffed, trying not to show the pain she felt. Finally he stood up, and she pulled herself to her feet, hiding a wince. "One more round, then you're done," he said, smirking.
'That's got to hurt.' Shera thought as she watched them fight.
Cade quickly got the advantage over her again and she thudded to the mat. She nearly gasped at the pain that shot through her, but she gritted her teeth. After Cade held her down, he stood up and offered her a hand. She took it, wishing she could bite it, and mentally warmed up his water bottle. She grabbed one and opened it, letting the cool water soothe her throat, and heard Cade gag as he tasted the warmth of his own water. He glared at her and left the training area. Lark leaned against the railing, eyes closed, exhausted. "Remind me again why I did that."
Shera was watching every movement they made as they sparred. 'It doesn't look as easy as I though.' Shera thought to herself.
Lark bit her lip as she set her water bottle down. She was pretty sure something was more than bruised, but she didn't feel like getting poked or checked up, so she attempted to ignore it. "Well, let's head to the lounge, shall we?"
"Yes." Shera replied to Lark. Shera had a lot of getting used to new things. Sparring is one of them without getting killed.
Lark led the way, careful not to jar her side. When they got to the lounge, she slid carefully onto one of the couches. Cade came in a second later, looking refreshed in a new shirt. Everyone else was already in the room. "In pain?" Cade asked Lark, smirking. She sent him a glare, but she knew he didn't know how much pain she was really in.

Shera sat down on one of the couches and looked at everyone in silence. 'I just hope that there's no buliies here. I don't want it to trigger me or me hurting someone because of it.' Shera thought.
"Do you want me to look at it?" Addy offered.
Lark shook her head, a little too vehemently. "Nah, I'm fine."
Cade shot her a look, then frowned. "Dang it. Don't tell me I broke something. I got a little caught up."
Lark choked out a laugh. "A little."

Cade shot her a look, then frowned. "Dang it. Don't tell me I broke something. I got a little caught up."
Lark choked out a laugh. "A little."
Shera watched the teens talk and laugh. This wasn't like her to be silence towards everyone. Shera was just afraid that something might go haywire.
"Did you enjoy seeing them spar?" Addy asked Shera. "Not that there was much to see, I'm sure."
"Hey," Lark said, pouting. "She did see Tarelle and Cade fight."
"Ooh, how was that?" Addy asked Shera.
"Hey," Lark said, pouting. "She did see Tarelle and Cade fight."
"Ooh, how was that?" Addy asked Shera.
"Well, it was like fighting and I'm sure that everyone gets hurt from that." Shera replied.
Shera was then silent. She couldn't let anyone feel her flashback. 'No. Go away flashback.' Shera thought angrily.
Shera tensed up. 'Oh Drat. Now my darkest secret would be revealed.' Shera thought worriedly.
"I'm fine." Shera replied.
"I'm fine." Shera replied.
Shera watched the other teens talk with one another. She thought to herself. She wondered if she could get along, but with her weaknesses of her anger and her past kept her from talking much.
