Keefe has his reasons. And he is trying! He has been hit with some pretty heavy punches, and still he wants to stay with Sophie and protect Sophie.
He may have thought that’s what he was doing but it actually made things worse. Now they had to worry about him as well as their other problems. He’s a wimp. Yes Fitz has problems with the unmatchable thing but he admitted it to Sophie AND told her he is trying to work through it. Keefe isn’t trying to fix his problems like Fitz is 🙄

I will die on the Sokeefe hillKeefe wants to keep his friends safe, and that's what he's actively been trying to do. Every time he left was either to try and further the cause (Neverseen) or to protect the whole group (the other time he left)
He isn't as wimpy as you think he is.
His intentions may have been good but they made things worse. He did nothing but cause more stress and pain.
He did it out of love and loyalty for his comrades. Any stress or pain he might have caused was completely unintentional. He specifically told them "Don't try to find me" and guess what? Sophie went and found him, against his instructions. Truly I think Sophie is the problem.
Yeah of course she went to find him! What he did was completely stupid and unnecessary and didn’t do much good. She found him to save him from his stupid choices.You should make a big decision after thinking. He should have thought “How will this affect my friends?” or “Will this actually work or help anything?” He made a horrible decision way to quickly

His only thoughts were probably "I can't let my evil mother get ahold of the girl I'm in love with and my best friends," and he really didn't have a lot of time (unlike everyone else in this series, all they do is stand around talking)
Because they’re smart! You have to think through a big problem before you make rash decisions!

She's kinda annoying and the whole "oh Fitzy, i'm very clearly into you but no one knows because my favorite color is teal" while the Foster Oblivion is rampant and Keefe is literally there for her the whole time.
The inability to follow basic instructions and boundaries is another reason why I don't like her

Keefe isn’t precious he’s a troubled teen with a lot of issues he needs to work on.
OF COURSE KEEFE HAS ISSUES. HE HAS CASSIUS AND GISELLA AS PARENTS. Fitz has everything he could ever want! Loving parents, an amazing sister, but as soon as he finds out abt Alvar, he's all "Oh no, poor me, boo hoo hoo, take pity on me Sophie"
He's pathetic and selfish.

Just because you have everything you could ever want doesn’t mean you’re automatically whiny and selfish. People who seem like they have it all have issues too. There is A LOT of pressure on Fitz to be a “perfect” guy. He’s expected to behave a certain way and that can really wear down a person!!! Also yes, he is troubled because he has sucky parents but he’s not trying to work through it!!! Fitz is actively trying!!!

There is no real pressure on Fitz. He is fabricating it because of the status his family has. Biana feels no such compunction! And she is the third child, so she should feel even more pressure than her brother, but doesn't! Fitz has an overblown ego and doesn't realize how sucky he is.Keefe is working through his stuff by helping Sophie and being with Sophie. She is his way to feeling like more than a product of an unloving marriage of convenience.

I mean I think they both have problems. Fitz definitely has anger issues and keefe has a problem with letting ppl in and letting them help him. Imo though keefe cares more about Sophie, but that doesn’t mean fitz is a bad guy. It’s just your preference/opinion. They don’t have to be the same

Sophie is annoying, I agree. Sokeefe all the way though, they are something special. It's very clear Keefe cares for her more than Fitz ever could. All Fitz does is get angry loll. Fitz has so many red flags. The only person I ship him with is that chandelier, if you know what I'm talking about.
