I’ve not read it before, but over the group read of the Mapp and Lucia books I’ve come to really enjoy their characters and antics.

True! I’m reminded of a very funny reviewer’s comment on the back of one of my Lucia paperbacks - something about the maneuvering and battling over things that don’t matter a jot, but Tillingites (Lucia and Mapp in,particular) would attack it with “Attilan ferocity” and Napoleonic strategy!😂😂 appearances above all!
The final of the Benson Lucia books - I should be ready to start within two days.
I'm really looking forward to this one - has anyone read it before?
