4.5. I admit to very much enjoying this. Katherine Center writes in some ways easy reads, in other ways they are quite depthful. Often her characters have some trauma, the men and the women, that make it hard to trust. But the message in these books is often the same. The only way to heal is to love. To love harder (my new coined phrase), to love with abandon, to let oneself trust again, to heal, to forgive, to let one's heart get lighter. Going from trauma and lack of trust to truly allowing oneself to live and love is this author's specialty. And I am completely on board with that. Its a message we all need, whether our fires are metaphorical or literal. Great book in a day.
