Dan: nice month! Odd Thomas was a favorite and I loved The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store. I will have to check out some of your others when my TBR is better behaved (not likely anytime soon! :)
Dan: Some others look intriguing - what did you think of The Neon Smile: A Novel and Murder in the Hollows? Looks like I started the first Jodi Luna book in March, (Hollow Beasts #1, Blood Mountain #2) so better go see if I can dig it up.
Ann, I liked The Neon Smile and it’s New Orleans atmosphere. Characters were interesting, and the author resisted some common stereotypes.
Sherry, The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store was excellent and very different from my usual reads. The contrasting characters were tied together in some unique ways - think the physical disabilities.

Whoops! Didn’t proof read my message. Should have read “can’t imagine you being disappointed.” (Thanks to Barry for catching that).
