Rachel Henke | 8 comments The kindle shows the pre-order cover. Please combine editions. Also I'd like to use the correct kindle cover as the main cover. Where can I upload a new cover?
I have old covers on other books too that I'd like to update.
Thank you
Rachel Henke

Emmy de Reus (nyneve) | 20412 comments Being an authorized GR author and member of the GR Author Program, you should be able to edit/update the majority of your listings, however it's worth noting that certain book data cannot be changed, including the book's page count, and format. It is also not possible to set a book's description as default.

Combining editions is an edit that you can do yourself.

About new covers:
■ Does a new (cover) edition also have a new isbn and/or asin: add a new edition with the new cover
■ Does the new (cover) edition have the same isbn and/or cover as the previous edition: create an ACE (=alternate cover edition)

Delete Photo

When it comes to editions that have already been published, we can't actually delete or replace the existing cover images. This is because we don't want to delete an image that a member might have on the book they purchased. Instead, you can create an Alternate Cover Edition and set this as the default edition. That way, anyone visiting your author profile or searching for the book will see this edition first.

To add an alternate cover edition of your book, you can navigate your book's page and click on Add an Alternate Cover Edition. This will transfer all information from the existing edition over to the newly created edition, excluding only the publication date and cover. It also removes the ASIN/ISBN from the old edition and adds it to the new edition. A Librarian Note is added to both editions. You will then need to add the new publication date and cover to the new edition, and save.

P.S.:
This is the wrong folder.

You should have made your request in the folder Book & Author Page Issues

Scott | 9656 comments I have removed the placeholder. You can upload the final cover now.

Rachel Henke | 8 comments Thank you for your reply. The relevant threads are difficult to find.
By edition I meant the Paperback and Kindle which are both newly published with new ISBNs, so no old ones. Have both been published last week on Amazon.
I see you removed the placeholder and the blank area but can't see how to upload the new cover?
Tips much appreciated.
Thanks again,
Rachel

Scott | 9656 comments Simply edit the book record and upload the final cover.
For the new editions with new ISBNs, you can use the "Add a new edition" button.

Rachel Henke | 8 comments Hi Scott, I've managed to upload the correct cover for the Kindle version. I want to update the cover on the Paperback too please. (It's a slight colour correction only.) It says only librarians can do it. Please can you let me fix it or use the cover for the kindle version for the paperback too? Thank you

Scott | 9656 comments Was the original colour cover issued in any way (advance copies, etc.)?

Rachel Henke | 8 comments No advance copies.
Thanks
