Alright, so I completely forgot to post here lol. But I've now read 24 chapters. It's pretty good, although on the younger end of YA. Also, Kestra has been giving Jaron vibes. she even has the same hair and eye color lol.

I honestly remember it being better, but I did read it a few years ago and my style has changed. It may be bumped down one or two stars, depending on how I feel about it

I'm thinking it might be 4 stars... Idk id if really deserves that, but I've really enjoyed it for some reason lol. I guess I've just been in the right mood.

Also, I've gotta say, I can deal with this extremely fast romance better than the (also extremely fast) romance in Nova.

Well... for one thing, in Nova, they fell in love in about the same amount of time, right? And they had no history prior to that. Also... idk, maybe I was feeling less chemistry. (Not that I think Kestra and Simon are so great a couple or anything, but I'm feeling a bit... more, somehow.)

Also, childhood-friends-to-enemies-to-lovers... I approve lol.

It's certainly not the best, and literally none of the plot twists have surprised me (even the ones I didn't call), but... idk, it's fun.

Alright, here's the deal... WE GOT LIKE TWO OR THREE CONVOS between Daeson and Raviel, before he goes and tells her.. things.

And, tbh, I'm not the biggest fan of this romance either (It's way too fast). And, of course, I read Nova as an eBook, which seems to affect a lot of things lol.

I think what it is, is I'm used to this sort of thing, so it doesn't bother me as much. Don't know if that makes any sense lol.

Yeah that makes sense. lol. I think the reason he told her those things is because she was the one who first made him question stuff, and now his world is flipping upside down and she's the only person who he knows of with answers. Who else would he go talk to?
