Kestra (I think the main character is almost always my favorite)

2. Who was your least favorite character?

Honestly I’m not sure. Trina annoyed me so much. Celia also annoyed me tho. And Tengar… ugh. Not to mention other villains

3. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be?

The pace. It was faster paced than I prefer. I mean, the whole book covered, what, 4 days??

4. What did you think of the ending? (spoiler tags, please!)

It wasn’t satisfying. It left me wanting more, yes. But it wasn’t a satisfying ending.

5. What was your overall opinion?

Meh. I don’t know that I’ll reread it but I will be continuing the series. It wasn’t a bad read at all. I don’t know that I’d recommend it tho.

Darrow

Kestra (except for the bad guys, who are just doing their literary job being bad.😅)

3. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be?

Make it way less dramatic and intsa-love-y. Ok, that's two, but they are related.

The ending wasn't bad! It was a good set up for the next book. I like that (view spoiler)[Simon is going to have his own role to play (hide spoiler)] other than to show us how great Kestra is. XD

5. What was your overall opinion?

I am sorry to all the fans of this book, but I was not a fan. I found it too dramatic, too much of a reincarnation of one of Nielsen's other characters from a different book, and the timeline was way too fast to have accomplished all that happened.

Probably Kestra

2. Who was your least favorite character?
Tengar, though Trissa got on my nerves a lot, too.

3. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be?
I would make the duration of the amount of time the book covers longer, especially drawing out the romance and the trusting other characters.

4. What did you think of the ending? (spoiler tags, please!)
I really liked it. Parts of it I definitely didn't expect at all, while a few things I did kind of see coming.

5. What was your overall opinion?
Overall, I liked it, but it was nowhere near my favorite book ever. I do think, though, that if some things were changed, I definitely would have loved this book.

Hmmm... prob Tenger.

I'd have made the romance more slow burn. Maybe had them not actually fall in love yet by the end of the first book.

It was pretty good. I like the direction this is going.

It was a quick, fun read, maybe not my fav, but still enjoyable, and I plan to finish the series in the near future.
