      The word building isn't hard to understand, it's quite simple. Romance is also good. The first half of the first book is quite boring (at least was for me) but when the trials begin in the second half it gets better.
 I just started reading it about three days ago and I get intimated by fantasy and so far I am enjoying it and being able to follow along :)

     YES. Sara J Maas got me through a major reading slump. It's not high brow literature by any means but fantsy made reading fun again for me (and it's addictive.)

Is the world building really hard to under stand ?
