message 60: by nyasia (new)

nyasia | 21 comments i’m a kindle girl, i love being able to take my books anywhere and ever since i got my kindle i’ve read much faster than i would in a physical book

message 61: by peachdoesthings. (new)

peachdoesthings. (peachdoesthings) Both. If it's a book I don't really want a physical copy of, then I'll get the ebook. If I want the physical copy, then I get to add one more book to my overabundant shelves. I get to read, so it's a win-win for me either way =^.^=

message 62: by Denysia (new)

Denysia (denysiayu) | 18 comments I really only read with my kindle now. Because of travel it’s a lot easier for me to just bring my kindle with me whenever I’m you going somewhere.

I am currently using Libby to download my books and then whenever I’m out and about and don’t have WiFi I can continue to read the books that I’ve downloaded. I would say that it’s worth it!

I currently have the kindle paper white and it’s a game changer for me!

Heer ☽ (inactive era due to uni) | 354 comments I prefer paperbacks/hardcovers all the way but as a university student living in a limited space with a limited amount of $ in my bank acc, I have to bow down to ebooks lol

clockedinatmidnight | 48 comments Paper books. Epic smell.

I have been looking into a kindle, because buying books is quite spendy and not spending oodles would be great, plus then I can buy collector's edition & make my library look fancy as f.

I've also bought hefty, heavy books..still worth it in my opinion for the smell of 'em. ☺️

Naimhaaa | 7 comments Real books 📖💞 and at night I just put a tiny book lamp on my book and I feel special😂🥹

khloe ⸆⸉ ོ | 10 comments I've always been a real book lover since in my opinion, they invoke more emotion in me. but I think ereaders aren't a bad option at all, in fact, I think I've used more ereaders this year than real books since I like the convenience.

message 67: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie | 21 comments I prefer physical books 📚 :)

message 68: by sarah! ⸆⸉ (new)

sarah! ⸆⸉ (swilkin) | 6 comments I love reading on my kindle!! I think it’s nice if you want to read at night or read on a screen. I can take my kindle app on my phone anywhere too!! I also love reading physical books because why not?! So, I honestly love both 😸

Shamiii | 112 comments Real books have my heart 🩷

・❁ emilie ♡ ❁・ | 20 comments I love both equally bc books are life but I actually read more books on my Kindle (it's cheaper :) and u can take it wherever u want) than physical books (prettier to me ♡)

message 71: by Nilouferreads (new)

Nilouferreads | 16 comments for me, both. Just depends on how I'm feeling

message 72: by Nilouferreads (new)

Nilouferreads | 16 comments But I prefer ebooks because I can comfortably carry my phone around and it helps me begin/continue whichever novel I'm currently reading. But whereas with paperbacks the bulk of it can be exhausting, I can barely keep up if I'm walking and reading (which I do a lot)

message 73: by peke (new)

peke | 68 comments I prefer physical, but now that I'm in school more often I'm using digital a bit.

message 76: by Aishah (new)

Aishah (thebookmarkdiaries) | 468 comments Oh please, physical for sure!!

message 77: by Diyaaa (new)

Diyaaa | 31 comments I’m a kindle girly, but ima say physical books are better in one aspect, which is that they can be decorative, and some book covers are beautiful.

…but I choose a kindle because personally I don’t have a bookshelf for books and I’m not gonna lie I don’t want people to touch or read the shit I read cause I’m personally embarrassed and don’t want people to know what I’m into…Also I choose a kindle because I travel a lot, going to work, going to visit family, events, road trips, and airports. A kindle is better in this circumstance as I can bring as many books on my kindle then taking up space and saving my self carrying multiple books. And another pro is no one will know what I’m reading. I have a kindle cover with a flap, two handles and a stand and it’s a game changer, I’m not a sticker or popsocket fan, so the flap cause works better in my situation.

And LASTLY THE LAST REASON IS IF U WANNA READ A SMUTTY BOOK, A KINDLE WONT MAKE YOU STAND OUT, LIKE A NORMAL PHYSICAL COPY COVER!!!!! 💖😭

message 78: by Sonja (new)

Sonja I can't read on a tablet. I need a book to flip and the smell of a book.

message 79: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie Ichimura (mackichu33) | 41 comments honestly, I love having a Kindle in edition to reading physical books.

you really can't beat the convenience of it; not too mention you can use it to download library books still.

the best benefit for me is it's compact size that you can fit easily into a small bag and also the fact you can read at night.

I still enjoy physical books for the reasons everyone else here stated, too. the smell, the feel, the experience of holding something that might have been around for a long time. you'll never find secret notes hidden on a Kindle screen. ❤️

message 80: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Kimber (michellekimber) | 10 comments real books and audiobooks from Libby

message 81: by frankie (new)

frankie (frankielovesreading) | 260 comments i love my kindle for the convenience but when it comes to which i prefer i think physical books because i have way too many but i LOVE the smell and also just being able to flip through it and own it yk

message 82: by Lily (new)

Lily . W | 90 comments REAL ALL THE WAY

message 83: by irenemayblack (new)

irenemayblack | 4 comments while I do have a good sized collection of physical books.... my kindle is my baby. I will never part with it

message 84: by felicitas (new)

felicitas | 36 comments I prefer my Kindle, it’s just so much easier to read and carry around. I love physical books, but I can never seem to find the motivation to pick one up. Still, if I truly loved a book, I always order a physical copy just to have it on my shelf 😭

message 85: by landrinka (new)

landrinka | 1 comments tbh, physical books because writing in the margins/making little notes of what i think throughout the book is so fun

message 86: by Vintages_hour (new)

Vintages_hour | 48 comments Real book.period.

message 87: by Mirna (new)

Mirna I used to read a lot more on the computer because ebooks are cheaper and easier to find. However the more i read print the more i realise what a better experience it is. And it's easier on the eyes and the smelll 🙂😍

message 88: by Elena (last edited Oct 13, 2024 03:36PM) (new)

Elena (alostgeek) I have both. If I really like the book and hope to have the book signed by the author someday, then I buy a physical copy. Otherwise, I've started to read more and more digital copies because they take up less space at home.

message 89: by thefabfairyꕥ (new)

thefabfairyꕥ | 212 comments Physical books because of the SMELL and you can hug it but ebooks are way easier to read if u wanna read while eating so u don’t spill something on ur book but physical all the way
