He did earn the punch but she should have been more restrained. In real life she would have been disciplined if not fired and charged. Just because someone needs a good punch doesn't mean we are allowed to do it.
It was vile but Sam's reaction was excessive. Again, police violence is unacceptable in any situation. She should be able to control herself and her behavior is no better than Freddie - perhaps worse as she is an experienced senior officer and should know better.
Any other cop would be suspended for assaulting a fellow officer.
Force's wishy-washy treatment of this issue is very irritating.
He deserved the punch in my opinion. I don't side with violent by police as a rule, but Ramsey was wrong too.
Sharon wrote: "He deserved the punch in my opinion. I don't side with violent by police as a rule, but Ramsey was wrong too."I agree!
She deserved to be suspended for doing that. Yes, he's a jerk and needs a punch in the mouth, but she can't do that kind of stuff. What if he broke his neck when he fell down the stairs? She could be up on manslaughter charges. I was really mad that she hit him. And I was mad at Farnsworth & Malone for not putting her in her place.
Robin wrote: "And I was mad at Farnsworth & Malone for not putting her in her place.."She gets away with far too much. I do not like this. It's not a good look.
Sharon wrote: "I understand your feelings, but Ramsey is an SVU cop. He should know better."Yes, he should know better and so should Sam.
