Sam gives the Secret Service agents instructions to not disturb her and Nick unless it involved Scotty. When Malone tries to gain entry to tell her about Detective Arnold, he’s stonewalled. Do you think if he’d to,d the agents why he was there they might have relented?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments Probably not. The Secret Service must follow their own procedures and protocols including respecting their principles' wishes.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree. Secret Service wouldn't listen to anything Malone said.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments The Secret Service wasn't going to budge on this.

I think Sam & Nick will need to give better instructions on when he and Sam can be bothered. The death of a co-worker would be an exception. Or if something happened to a family member.

This is one of the reasons it would be impossible to be a cop and the second lady. It would never work in real life.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Agree Sharon. This is pure fiction. Sam was technically still on leave, and she had yet to indicate if she was coming back. I'm sure she would have wanted to know, but really, what could she have done?
