Good morning.
Jan and I know many of you are traveling this summer.
Knowing all of us read at different speeds; some may have finished the books already.
Anyone interested in us adding a new book to get you through
August? We have a slew of books just waiting for book clubs to read them. Let us know and we will add another one or two.
Thank you for being members.
This topic will only be up through mid- August.
Stacey

The only one I can think of is The Genius of Judy: How Judy Blume Rewrote Childhood for All of Us but it’s new release so I’m not sure how readily people can get a copy. There’s also always a standby or an Amos Oz book that the group hasn’t read yet.

Michal Mendelsohn | 7 comments I am not ready. I feel I have moire than enough to read and no time! This is just one person's point of view and I am in a totally different group as caregiver for my husband.

Hi Brina,
Thank you so much.
We have the books.
I kept an ongoing list of all the ones Jan and I played around with for every month before selecting the one we felt would fit best.
Did you see Judy Blume's interview? Excellent and informative.

I didn’t see her interview but I read and loved the commentary on the Jewish Book Council Page. I am first in line at the library and am really excited for this one.

Michal,
Thanks for responding. Im sure you have plenty of books to keep you reading for the next year :)
Most of us are in other groups with books we can read, and yes, many members are busy or away. Many are not.
This was simply an ask if anyone wanted another book suggestion from this group.
Your moderators aim to please. Enjoy you summer.

Lissa Brown | 6 comments Tarnished Streets of Gold is a fast read with short chapters. I'm told the entire book can be read in less than four hours. I like to read when I'm traveling, so I keep chapters short for convenience.

Good afternoon Lissa,
Hope you are well.
This is a "temporary" topic for Jan and I to suggest books we have already vetted and are not taking suggestions at this time. We will be doing nominations shortly.
This is also not the place for self promotion. You can however move this to the "Authors Space" discussions you will see under our different topics.
Thank you so much for understanding.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. This site can be a bit confusing for newcomers and I picked the wrong place.
