I love reading anything that deals directly with vice and/or virtue. Each story in this collection is named after a vice or virtue. Just finished the first story: Bravery. Love the writing-- has sort of a surreal quality to the setting amidst everyday characters, I look forward to seeing how all of the stories connect. Oh, and apparently, characters make appearances in multiple stories (which is something else I love about a short story collection); we get to see them from different angles.

I can't get the bookcover to post in the "This Topic is About" box. I've done it before and tried several times on my last couple of entries. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. Apologies. :P
"Topic is about" box: copy-paste your title in the box, wait the list, clic on the right book (if there are too many books with this title, you can add the author with the title), wait the cover appears on the page and post the topic :)
No problem ;)

Just finished reading and I absolutely love it! The characters are seemingly "normal" everyday folks who are at some sort of crossroads. In each story, someone is asked or told in some way, "There's something I Need you to do," and we witness what unfolds after this request. My favorites are "Chastity," "Gluttony," and "Vanity."
