brighty (whatsbrireading_) | 66 comments I’ve wanted to read one of her books for forever (since i was like 13-14), and now I’m almost 17 so I believe I’m old enough to but please correct me if I am wrong. I don’t know where I should start with her writing though. Thanks in advance!!

Kasssss | 7 comments Whichever one you choose to start is fine, they are all beautiful. I personally started with "people we meet on vacation" and after that I loved every Emily book with all my heart

I totally agree.

Cassie (semi hiatus until monday) | 91 comments I started with Happy Place and was disappointed, but then tried Beach Read and it was really good! However, I know a lot of people hate this one so it might be risky. I haven't yet read any of her others.

Haleigh | 5 comments All of them are great!! Happy Place, Funny Story, and Beach Read are my personal faves :)

Lia | 42 comments I wouldn't recommend starting with beach read because that's what I did and although everyone talks wonders about her I haven't picked up any of her books again because that one was a huge disappointment for me :(

Kierra Massie | 2 comments I started with happy place and really enjoyed it, just finished book lovers. Book lovers was a little boring imo.

Corrie 🎀✨🎧 | 113 comments i started with book lovers and fell in love with her writing i’m currently reading happy place but honestly i think it can be hit or miss for some ppl with her as an author. i love her writing sm but maybe read two of her books before you decide if you like her writing or not

Jacks Loves Books (jackslovesbooks) | 5 comments I love all of her books. But People You Meet on Vacation is my favorite. Happy Place is hard if you haven't read her before, so I don't recommend starting there.

Christine | 12 comments I enjoyed Book Lovers and Funny People a lot. I have now read all but The People We Meet on Vacation (it's on my Aug TBR). I overall enjoy her writing, so I agree you should read at least 2 to see if you like her,
