Hello, this case has been open since 11th July - can anyone deal with it please?
Another appeal for someone to look at this please - open nearly a month.
For some reason this request is invisible or maybe too difficult for anyone to deal with? That's disappointing 😕
I've had a look at some of the mistakes, fixed some, but others need to be merged (deleted) or really edited.Not all your assumptions are accurate, but a majority are.
I would love copies of the cover & copyright page.

Thank you, those records are looking better. Didn't see this till 10pm UK time and can't get a decent photo in artificial light so will have a try tomorrow and then upload them and let you know.

There is a book that has the same cover as the original version I have, but says it was published by Harcourt Brace and Company who I believe were American publishers. The copy I have is published in Great Britain and by The Bodley Head Ltd. Possibly Harcourt etc did also publish it at the same time as mine. But the record for this Harcourt edition has both publication dates on it. The 1983 one with the ISBN above is a reprint. So it is wrong to show it as first published in 1983 with 'this edition' as 1967.
The Harcourt Brace one is at https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... - url seems a bit odd with the repetition of the author name. The title on the page also repeats the author's name multiple times.
There are several other records for this book which have unknown author on them or have John Lincoln but the details are muddled.
The one for the hardcover published by the Bodley Head (I have second impression of this first edition) has the ISBN
9780370004204 (which is a modern expansion of its original SBN but isn't quite right as when viewed in search results it appears as 'the first American edition' whereas it is published in Great Britain.
