Read in a collection of short sci-fi stories book 2023/2024 (but the book was older) about a Hemingway superfan who has obtained time travel (alteration) powers and sets about to make right the last years of Hemingway

SOLVED, it was The Kilimanjaro Device, a short story by Ray Bradbury (included in I Sing the Body Electric And Other Stories). Apparently originally titled The Kilimanjaro Machine.
