He watched her walk away to her cabin, and he noticed her looking back at him.

Clara walked in and went to her drawers and grabbed out a pair of jeans then went over to her bed to grab her shirt and a hoodie. Then she started walking to the big house
He had gone to the big house, waiting for her there. He heard footsteps outside the door.
Clara opened the door and saw bramble standing directly in front of her. When she stepped in she made eye contact with Mr D and he rolled his eyes
“Hey.” He said, grabbing her hand.
“Hi” she said accepting his hand
He didn’t want her to think he was mad at the nymph.”I was really just trying to figure out what had happened.” He said.
“I know, it’s ok” she whispered. “We have more information from the nymph” she said aloud to Chiron and Mr D
“The nymph was near the forest, she was helping to plan a party.” He began.
“She went to her tree to sleep which is located in the southern forest next to the cabins and after that she has no idea what happened, while it’s not amazing information it’s a place to start” Clara finished
“Exactly.” He said, hoping they would know something about it.
“There was probably just a spark that set the tree on for you are making it such a big deal and I am kind of sick of hearing about it especially if you don’t have proof” Mr D said una snobby tone

“Okay, we’re leaving.” Bramble said immediately after hearing his words.

“I would still like to talk to Chiron about this matter” Clara said “you don’t have to listen if you don’t want to, you could go literally anywhere else Dionysus” Clara was using and aggressive tone now because she hated Mr D
He wasn’t used to her having a harsh tone. He stayed silent, wondering what he was supposed to be doing.
“Don’t you talk to me like that!! This is my house! YOU GET OUT NOW!” Dionysus screamed back at her
Bramble jumped and started backing away. “We should go.” He said in a whisper.
“This argument isn’t over Mr D!” She said before she followed bramble out the door
“He can be very hard to deal with.” He said in an annoyed tone.
“I am just so mad because no one believes there is actually a threat! No tree just gets set on fire randomly!” She said in a very annoyed tone

“I wish there was someone that would listen to us.” He said. “The only person I could think of would be Chiron.”

“Maybe I am just crazy” she sighed then put her head down
“If anyone’s crazy, it’s me.” He said, smiling slightly.
“What makes you say that?” She looked up at him with a grin on her face
“All I’m saying is you’re not crazy.” He said, taking her hand.
“Well thanks” she said to him accepting his hand into hers
He just smiled. He didn’t know exactly what to say, so he stayed silent.
“What do we do now?” She asked
“I don’t know.” He said, shrugging.
“I am going to go back to my cabin for now then” she said, but she was just using that as a distraction, she knew bramble wouldn’t let her go back in to argue with Mr D but she was still fuming with anger though she didn’t know why she was still angry
“Ok.” He said. “Don’t go back to the big house, please.”
“I won’t” she smiled. It felt horrible to lie to him, because she had made such a bond with him that could be broken but she had to do it because she needed this to go through
“Good.” He said, smiling. He didn’t know if she was telling the truth, but he let her go anyway.
She walked away to her cabin but kept glancing back to make sure bramble was gone before heading back
Bramble stood in the middle of camp, not knowing what to do.
Clara saw bramble just standing in the middle of camp and while she didn’t want to get caught by him she didn’t think he would see her if she went then so she ran to get nearer to the woods before she walked to the big house
He wondered if she had been lying to him. He didn’t really care, but he just wanted her to make the right choice.
When she got to the door she tried to twist it but it was locked, maybe it was meant to be that way and she just needed to let it go so she did and walked up behind bramble because she thought he should know she lied to him
He was standing silently with his eyes closed, listening to the birds. He heard a crunch behind him and he swiveled around. He was relieved to see Clara standing behind him. “I thought you had gone back to your cabin.”
“Yeah, well I lied to you and I’m really sorry. I was really mad and wanted to go back at it with Dionysus but the door was locked and I took that as a sign I made the wrong decision. I know you don’t deserve to be lied to and I am sorry, you don’t need to forgive me if you don’t want to” she said

“Hey, it’s okay.” He said, hearing the nervousness in her voice.

“It wasn’t right and I feel terrible” she said
“You don’t need to feel terrible. If you had been gone for a while, I probably have gone over there.” He said.
