It is possible to have multiple profiles, but only one can be claimed. Which name would you like on your claimed profile, and which books should go where?
I don't understand "claimed". I need a profile as a reader but my books need author pages. Pls help me understand.
You have a Goodreads author profile, that means that you have claimed it as yours at one point and that your user profile has been merged into it. You can also use this profile for logging your reading.Your other author profiles, for your pen names, will only have 'Author', on their page, not 'Goodreads author', and you will not be able to edit them yourself.

Actually, not true. Only one can be claimed with a single login. But an author with multiple pen-names is welcome to create multiple Goodreads accounts (each with its own associated email address), and claim one author name with each account.
Alternately, we can add C.L. McCourt as a secondary author for all books published under Cindy McCourt. They would then all show up on the C.L. McCourt author page.

An author has two profiles, some of his books in each profile need merging.

I don't know where to post this so pls forgive me if this is in the wrong place. I am published two ways, Cindy McCourt and C. L. McCourt. I plan on adding another pen name soon. When I signed up with GR, this was the url I was assigned - https://www.goodreads.com/cindy_mccourt. Works for me as a reader. But it redirects to https://www.goodreads.com/author/show....
How can I have cindy, c.l. and yet another. I would like to add my tech books that are published under cindy For example http://www.amazon.com/Drupal-Guide-Pl....
Please let me know if this is possible and how to accomplish it, if so.
