Natasha | 8 comments Hi there,

I have written three books that are part of a series, but the series does not show up on my Author page.

The series is here:

FINAL DESTINATION SERIES:
https://www.goodreads.com/series/5228...

My profile is here:
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

How can I get this series to show up on my Author page? I have two other series visible but not this one.

Grateful for any help you can give me.

Best wishes,

Natasha Rhodes

minzi | 388 comments Hello,

My guess is that the series is not showing up because there are different authors for the different books in the series. I noticed already that a series with the same two authors for each book also just shows up on the first authors profile.

Natasha | 8 comments Thanks so much for the explanation. I wrote 3 books of this 9 book series. I'm wondering if there's an option to make a 'limited' series on my page just showing my 3 titles?

minzi | 388 comments Hello,

Technically, this is possible, but I am not sure if it is allowed. I thus just asked the fellow librarians - hope to be back with an answer soon :-)

minzi | 388 comments Hello again,

So, after consulting with other librarians I understand that unfortunately a limited series / subseries only on the basis of a common author is not in line with the Goodreads rules.

Do your books have story details that are in common only for those three books but not for the rest of the series?

Natasha | 8 comments Thanks for researching this one Minzi!

So 2 of my books are are the official novelizations of the movies 'Final destination 1' and 'Final Destination 2'.

The rest of the books in that series (except for 'Final Destination 3', by Christa Faust) are 'Further Adventures' books. They are set in the FD universe but they are not movies.

Would that be enough grounds to make the books of the movies into a limited series? The current series mixes the novelizations together with the original (non-movie) books, which is a little confusing to a fan looking to complete their collection.

Here's the current series as it stands: https://www.goodreads.com/series/5228...

Natasha | 8 comments To clarify, here are the only official movie novelizations from the existing 9-book series:

Final Destination 1: the movie: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

Final Destination 2: the movie: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Final Destination 3: the movie: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Scott | 8655 comments I would put the novelisations and the original novels in separate series.
