This is a collection of "6-word memoirs" from children, teens, parents, and teachers, along with essays by a variety of teachers, about how the pandemic affected them and their work. The challenge is to sum up your feelings in 6 words. The results are funny, sad, clever, relatable, odd, and charming. The book traces the arc from the beginning of the pandemic (toilet paper shortages) till the eventual time of seeing each other in person again. As studies show the effects of that time on both young children and teens, this is a valuable reminder of that crucial era. A very fast read.
