Mine is Archangels blade , tell me how I read 94% of this book. Loved the characters just for her to turn into her partners Dead wife from the BC (thousands of years ago) …. During the gawk gawk. Tell me y’all have read a book that had you GOB SMACKED mad like this , 400 pages of character development for what

FUCK I KNOW!! i threw that shit in the toliet best believe !! i cant believe he only figured out after lady gave him that special gawk gawk only she could do BC (thosuands years ago) and they just lived happily ever after. imagine your best friends randomly turns into this old acent lady now you cant gossip with her about tracey from math cus her body has been reincarnated with the soul of her ancient bf’s dead wife.#amustread dont forget the large amounts of bdsm btw my mum recommended this to me LOL

In the last couple of years, "Get Well Soon," "Green Mansions," "The Ambassadors." The first and third I couldn't even finish.I also tried Thomas Mann for a second time, having left Hans or whatever the guy's name was on the side of "The Magic Mountain" decades ago. I found Mann's "Doctor Faustus" long-winded and boring.
My least fav trope is insta-love. It’s so ridiculous. Especially when something goes down amd they are like “this isn’t like you.” YOU DONT KNOW THEM!!!

@oliWell, I face biological reality and when a woman and a woman are together but one says, "I'm a man!" that's not fact. And this is meant for children in the age group of what? 12+?? I've read the end since I dnf the book but the trans lady became prom king. So it really rubs me the wrong way.

So many people are saying Insta-Love and I couldn’t agree more! I just CANNOT stand a book where they’re like “But I love you!” and it’s only been four chapters. It’s one of my pet peeves.
worst trope and worst book? Trope: white supremacy. Book: the Turner Diaries.
Worst trope -- I absolutely despise the miscommunication trope. I mean miscommunication happens in life all the time, but if the plot hinges around a misunderstanding that can be cleared up by a simple conversation, then I'm out. I won't put up with it.

The book that I always tell people that I disliked the most was "Picture of Dorian Grey". Some people love this book. I thought it was awful, boring tripe. The worst book of the year so far was Rwanda, Inc. It is about the Rwanda genocide and deifies its next ruler who turned out to be another African dictator after all.
