I didn't link the book because there were so many editions I wasn't sure which is the correct one. There were 4 stories in the audiobook I listened to and total length was 6 hours 38 minutes which I think is nearly 200 pages in print.

Only the first 2 stories were somewhat interesting to me as they were about ghosts and supernatural incidents. I don't know why I tend to believe in ghosts but not really in monsters but it is what it is. If I listened to the first story in the middle of the night at home on my own; I'd be totally freaked out!

Why don't I believe in monsters in stories when I read a lot of fantasy? I think it's probably because in these 2 stories, the protagonists themselves were disbelieving and it took til the end of each story to sort of say, okay, it's possible. I guess I just wanted the plot to move on...
