Pages: 368 pages

Length: 1 month (July)

Participants: Beth, Lulo

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

Lulo | 89 comments Hi!
I'm not sure when i will start with this one. Have a digital copy of the book ante the device is use (my phone) just died yesterday. So i might be starting to read it not before July 10th.

Karin | 228 comments I'll join and have finished this :)

Beth | 1547 comments Still waiting for my hold copy from the library.

Beth | 1547 comments Hold finally came through! Starting tonight or tomorrow.

Beth | 1547 comments Wow, I really enjoyed this book! The relationship between those women was incredibly uplifting and fun to read. And there were some great twists along the way that kept the story moving. Definitely a 4-star read for me!

Some of my favorite quotes:
"I was married to Kenneth for over thirty years. Eighteen of them were really happy. That’s not so bad.”
“What happened to the other twelve?”
“Erectile dysfunction and his abortive attempt to breed Weimaraners.”

“Mine is Period Poodle.” An animated French poodle with a tiny beret trotted across the screen. “Bonjour! You are on day 14. Bienvenue to ovulation!”

“Jesus, what did you have for breakfast? A bowl of Honey Bunches of Bitch?” Natalie grumped.

I wouldn't mind a sequel with these ladies!

Lulo | 89 comments I started it on saturday and I'm already read past half of the book.
I'm really like it so far.
The first chapter was a little bit chaotic with so many new charaters all at one, but after that it's a smooth read.

That's a GREAT one!
