The one you've mentioned (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) is not assigned to any ASIN.

Each ASIN can only be assigned to one edition. Librarians cannot change or move ASIN.
Where the same ASIN has been used for two or more editions it will only be assigned to one of those editions on Goodreads.

Hello Martin - If you check Amazon website, you will see that Kindle edition with ASIN B001GA1RFA (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...) is assigned with this ebook cover (https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8...).

If you search for the book using ASIN keyword "B001GA1RFA" in Goodreads, you will see this result https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... which has different cover with what you will see in actual Amazon website that sells the actual ebook edition.

Apparently, Goodreads is not aligned or updated with current Amazon listing. Actual cover of ASIN B001GA1RFA in Goodreads is not consistent with the current Amazon listing. I do believe that ASIN B001GA1RFA (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...) in Goodreads should be accordingly assigned and updated with correct and updated cover based on current Amazon listing (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...). Or at least create an alternate cover for this current Amazon listing.

How can this issue be fixed? If you think you can't do anything with this inconsistency between seller/publisher and Goodreads catalogue as a librarian, please let me know and that should be fine. Thanks.

Goodreads functions differently to Amazon, it is not a sales site so retains all cover variants as different editions and does not prioritise newer editions.
The cover variant you are asking for is already listed on Goodreads. If you feel the ASIN should be moved you can submit a request to staff, librarians cannot alter ASIN or ISBN.
