Alexis (smilingturtle2) | 1 comments Hi! I'm Alexis. I mainly listen to e-audiobooks because I have some eye issues. (I can listen while knitting or sewing doll clothes or painting, and I usually do, so it works out fine!)

This summer so far, I have enjoyed several books by Leigh Bardugo and C.M. Waggoner. I've also read every book the library had that I hadn't listened to so far by Emily St. John Mandel. And I loved Mirrored Heavens, although now I am sad that the trilogy is over! Currently listening to The Last Tale of the Flower Bride, and next up is Pelican Girls, which just came in from being on hold. 😊

Also, I started listening to My Heart Is a Chainsaw and really liked it, but then Mirrored Heavens came in on hold and I had to make the tough decision to save My Heart Is a Chainsaw for another time - now I'm waiting for that one to come back in on hold! LOL.

I just signed on to the Summer Reading Challenge today, but if all the books I've read since June 24 count, I will have finished 10 when I'm done with The Last Tale of the Flower Bride (and I'm currently 80% done)! Yay! (If not, there's no way I can listen to 10 audiobooks in 10 days.) 🤣
