We find that the selected literature is of little interest to many of our members and feelings of demotivation are prevalent amongst many. @all if you don’t want to read the botm then give us some ideas of what books we can do (they should be rare/less popular because if not then everyone would be earning points left and right so then the team points wouldn’t change at all) this monthly challenge is more so that teams can have a chance to up their place on the leaderboard

What if you guys kept the 6 books idea but each book was a different genre, fantasy, nonfic, horror, etc and then adjust the points you get off it

Maybe for fantasy, there are no extra points but for nonfic it's 2-3x more points

And then you keep the, 'if you read all 6 then you get (reward)' rule

If that's something you think could work and everyone likes the idea ofc

Okay then, don't. But none of us picked the books, it was decided even before the January Selections were out. Everything is pre-planned for the future, wait for something you're willing to do if you want.

P.S.: I know most of you are dying for A Killing Cold to be published, it's okay, reading another book as a 'if someone DOES betray the plan we have a backup' is an option too

I feel like that is completely unfair. I’ve read 4 books and can’t log any because of this prime number rule (bare in mind those rules wasn’t suppose to be ours anyway with the least amount of active players)

I am the most active player with reading and I can’t log anything because of the rules so when we have 2 sometimes 3 readers this takes us completely off the grid of earning any points.

It dosent state it in the rules anymore however it did with the exception of books. Not sure where that info has now gone.

In Ephemeral's rules it says
If you're logging in books, censoring does not count but outright saying it does.
Even if you go by that, the title wasn't censored the first time
And the Shadow Hunters was a) Counted because of 'shadow', Shadowhunters would be fine because it's a different words, and Shad*w would've been fine logging in books b) Not a book being logged in
