soo about the new suggestions in the questions topic by Mystique.. The second suggestion is greatt. Yeah, there should be more rules but I think the mods were still working on that..? idkk..but it'd be cool

howeverr, the review thing where you said we have to write a review to gain points as it is further evidence of the person having read the book..
well..Reviews take a lot of time and energy. Most of us have school and other studies and hardly take out the time to read let alone write a proper review
secondlyyy, sometimes when you read a book, you just dont have words to describe how you felt about it yk? its not always easy to come up with things you wanna say in a review.
so I feel like reviews will be a bigg headache which, trust me, Mystique, you dont wanna do either.

I review every book I read, even when I’m not 💯 on what I want to say sometimes might be huge paragraphs (normally when I’m totally in love with it or want to vent about the read) but other times I’ve wrote reviews which have been 1-2 sentences.
I get everyone might not have time, trust me I get it I might not have school (Mum of 3, 2 of which of 3 year old twins, after school activities, school runs, maintains house also a full time job as a financial manager to 200 staff, ohhh and a man child husband that requires attention).
However I do feel we need more rules and collectively as a group possibly coming up with some ideas for these rules to assist with the mods.

Well, if one liners count then I dont have an issue but for the members who arent really active but just reading and logging their books, its hard to constantly tell them to yk..write the review? it can be annoying.

Hii, so I just wanted to say in response to the rules suggestions and etc that I know it's a little straightforward in terms of gaining points but the mods have been planning challenges and other things that will involve gaining and losing points all around and it will alll get significantly more interesting.

At the moment they're a little busy I think, we all know how it is, but they've been working really hard on their ideas and bringing this group to life so I feel like before suggesting any rules or anything, we should wait and let them carry out what they had planned. Who knows? When we find them out we may regret ever bringing up the idea of more rules in the first place lol.

So yeah, maybe we should just be patient right now, enjoy the calm before the storm and give them the opportunity to bring their vision for their group to life? If that makes sense 😊

Hi, so I really don't think that she meant it in a rude way but a mere suggestion.

(I think it's because the Nocturne team suddenly became top 1 and it did surprise ME because I remember my team, aka Mystique, fighting against Ephemeral for first place and it was intense, in my opinion, and then Nocturne took us both out of lead🔥😭like, daym, I did not see that coming at all.)

Back to what my teammate said, I do like the suggestion but it is ONLY a suggestion for the mods/leaders to consider/think about. 🤷‍♀️ Nothing too serious :)

It's just a thought that was meant to be shared and discussed. ❤

I was simply replying because, as you said, it was meant to be shared and discussed. And it was merely a reminder and a point of information for the new members who might think that this is how the competition is going to continue till the end, when in fact it’s going to get a LOT harder (because our mods are sadists). It’s for that very reason that I’m only SUGGESTING that we wait and see what they have in store, otherwise we may as well end up making things more difficult for ourselves :) Use this unintended grace period to its fullest yk? Maybe Luminary will even change the game before the official rules are set, which will be so much more funnn

(Believe me, no one is more surprised than Nocturne lol, but it’s understandable, some people are obviously going to get busier and some will get more time to read so the ranks will naturally change. Which is why I’m so excited to see Luminary’s comeback, amongst other things)
