♤Lizzy♤ (Inactive) | 200 comments ok, we hate on the popular books, but how abt show them some love.
me personally?
I didn't have high expectations for The Inheritance Games, since my mom bought it for me and I don't usually like mystery but I really enjoyed it. Also, I enjoyed Wings Of Fire alot.
:-) I would love to hear what you think!

Nat | 143 comments If We Were Villains was one someone had told me to read but wasn’t that impressed by. I went in seriously doubting it and expecting it to be very teen oriented. I have to give full kudos because the attention to detail and the knowledge of Shakespeare (I don’t even like Shakespeare that much) swayed my opinion greatly. That book was a lovely surprise and very enjoyable

I love the movie!

Escape to Books (escapetobooks) | 26 comments The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, I really toned down the expectation in my head but I did enjoy the parts about her husband's the most.

Shay | 30 comments Magnolia parks! I heard the words love triangle and always wanted to stay away, but i'm pleasantly surprised by these books. Now, however if Daisy haites doesn't end up with who i want her to (for spoiler reasons i shan't say), I will be erasing these books from my brain.😗

Judith Speed | 208 comments For me, as an adult, it was the Harry Potter series.
Also, I would never have read anything by Khaled Hosseini had it not been specifically recommended.
And I was surprised at how funny Vanity Fair was.

Ineffable7980x | 47 comments Because of their immense hype, I was concerned I would not like The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, but I actually enjoyed both quite a bit.
