I hope you are all doing very well this warm summer, I know it has been a while since we have last updated. These last two months have been busy for us cult leaders with our personal and professional lives taking the front row. However!
This leads us into July, where we are excited and ready to do some good old classic reading! We have a very special event planned for this month's book. This month our book club decided that through popular vote we would read a book and do a group annotation. The winning book came from our very own Inky (InkedSolaceReads) and falls on their book of the month choice so we decided to share it with y'all!
So, for July's BOTM, we are reading House of Salt and Sorrow by Erin A. Craig. We follow Annaleigh, one of twelve cursed sisters who live in a lonely manor by the sea. With nothing to fill the void of loneliness, slowly, the daughters of Highmoor get sucked into a world of glittering balls and dancing until dawn, or really to their death. After four sisters pass, Annaleigh realizes there is more to this story than balls and dancing. With whispers scattered in the wind and a stranger's secrets, Annaleigh must figure out what is happening before her family is ruined. Or worse, before there are none left to dance.
