I've only read Chapter 16 so far...
So it's true! There is something brewing with Lacey and her Dad.
hmmm. Sounds sad.
And we see a vunerable Gerry. Loved that part.

So agree. In that scene, she endeared herself to me.

Cathryn | 27 comments My thoughts of Ricardo went way down with that whole laundry thing. His insensitivity with her fall was bad, but then the laundry. I am so Team Jon. lol

Oh my! Just got to that part. Ricardo's silk boxers? ewww. How rude! hahaha

Thank you so much, Cathryn.

Bethany Meadows | 28 comments I’m suspicious of Ricardo too 😂😂..y’all I listen to too much true crime and watch too many detective shows. Everybody becomes suspicious 😂: He isn’t very thoughtful either!

I thought of Ricardo too. But don't think it's him the more I think of it. Too obvious.
Collins ... I get more and more frustrated with him. But Jon's thoughts about Collin's appearance are hilarious.
It makes me wonder who the general manager is that sent Collins - could it be to distract Jon from what's really going on?

Nashelle | 50 comments Yep, I don't care how amazing his cherry tarts are. Ricardo is a hard pass!

There is no way Collins was an FBI agent for thirty years. (Maybe one or two days before he washed out.)

I love how Dunlap hooked us with humor and is now slowly peeling away the layers of each Shipper to show us more of her heart.

haha, Amen on Ricardo.

Good call. No way he could handle FBI.

Yes, how we've been so into laughter about the gals and now the emotion is coming in. Love it.

Sandy Blair | 18 comments I am NOT liking Ricardo at all! He seems shady to me, I think there is more to be revealed on him. I did love Jon's dedication to stick in there and pursue Lacey, she seems like there is many layers to her and is much to learn about her past and why she responds the way she does. Hopefully she can work through these things so she can enjoy some of the most precious things in life.

same, Sandy!

Anne (In Search of Wonder) (abcdefg88piano) | 17 comments Ricardo is smarmy. if it were me, I would have left his laundry there. Lacey is way nicer than me.

If it had been you, I can just see your face with your eyebrows raised and icy stare. hahaha

Haha! You know it! I have perfected that look for when guys get smarmy on me. Doesn't happen to me much at my age but when I was younger, oh yeah. Didn't have to say a thing. 😂
