Ch Prologue - 14 (view spoiler)[ I have so many questions. Clearly either this is the real Romeria or she's a fake one. Although, I'm beginning to think that Romeria is now the real one. But I'm trying to figure out who is deceptive. I'm starting to wonder about Corrin. Or maybe even Wendeline. Someone that is close to the king is conspiring. (hide spoiler)]

I enjoy our reads too! My team is also behind, but I am trying.

I am still in chapter 1, will get to read more in a couple of hours.

I am looking forward to seeing how Sophie and Tee (Romeria I am assuming) relationship and dynamic will shape. They are both women who seem smart, wicked, and come with a past.

I am also interested to know why Tee was chosen.

On another note, I feel K.A. Tucker's spirit, but it is also different from the Wolf Hotel series. Super happy about this.

From my understanding, this is her first try and fantasy. I think she did a great job if that's true. She's sucked me in!

from the author note it seems that's her second try, but she removed the first series from the market because her style changed so much and she felt it doesn't reflect her anymore since it was 10 years earlier (2010). But this book's ideas have been in the works since 2015, and she wrote it in 2020.
it seems there are some common elements she wanted to keep but not more than a couple paragraphs in the prologue and some names and some of the world-building.

Ch 15 - 19 (view spoiler)[ I was a little shocked to see that Zander was a vampire. I'm not sure how this will play yet, but I'm curious if Romeria's blood is still tainted? Or how they will even know if it is? Although, I'm starting to feel like Zander may know who she is or rather what she is. I forget that she was out for 3 days after the attack and that's plenty of time for him to figure out who/what she is. (hide spoiler)]

I wish we had a glossary of some sort. There are so many things that I don't understand or know. Probably, Tucker wants us to have the Romeria experience and discover/understand things as she does. I like that, but it's equally frustrating if it drags on.
I am at chapter 6 for now.

I have felt that for sure, but I also expect it in fantasies. I always have so many questions that I know I'll get them over time, but I expect the info dump that is usually confusing, lol

Ch 25 - 31 (view spoiler)[ Well a lot happened there at the end for sure. And I am going to have a hard time not reading the next one immediately. I'm so glad Romeria finally told Zander what she is. I'm also really curious about where these two end up. I do think that what they have is natural chemistry, almost like fated mates if you will. I also want to know more about her blood and if Zander will ever be able to bite/feed from her.

I expected everything with his brother. There were a lot of signs that he was going to do something like that. Overall I loved it! (hide spoiler)]

Still he asked her "who are you". And When Wendeline came to see Zander in the garden, thye were both worried. I think she might have been telling him about Romeria's reaction to hearing about the prophecy? (hide spoiler)]

Considering what we learned about Romeria and Aoife in chapter 23, I am very interested to see how this will play out, probably in the following books. This is a slow burn I didn't know I needed. What would Romeria do? (view spoiler)[Would she do as Malachi wants? She is clearly a weapon for both Fates.
Is she a nymph? Aren't nymphs creatures who are seductive and conniving and can take different forms?
And with her connection to both Malachi and Aoife, does she have both powers and hence is very powerful?
Is Romeria the key to open the door to let the other nymphs out? and why would Malachi want the nymphs out? (hide spoiler)]

I have WAY too many theories and questions.
