message 53: by kpgc (new)

kpgc (acecass) | 1 comments i've been finishing books faster these past few weeks. i think i read 1-2 books per week since i started my college term last may. but the break gave me more time, around 3-4 books per week.

message 54: by elizabeth (new)

message 55: by Escape to Books (new)

Kai's Darling | 659 comments a couple days (normal size) just under a week if it's a big book (e.g Kingdom of Ash)

Katarina Honeycutt | 1 comments 2 to 3 days. If I have real life issues to deal with, it may take me 7 days to finish a book.

Katarina | 19 comments 2-3 days I think

message 60: by loonaplenaaa (new)

loonaplenaaa | 14 comments Depends, I can finish it in a day, two days, five, seven, two weeks, two months, four months... I'm never sure, that's why it's interesting to me.

message 61: by Rosemary (last edited Jul 15, 2024 11:24AM) (new)

Rosemary Crosson | 11 comments It depends on the book. If it is one of those can't-put- down ones, I can read it in 2-3 days. Otherwise, it usually takes me 5-7 days.

message 62: by Wyetha (last edited Jul 15, 2024 12:08PM) (new)

Wyetha (wyesreads) | 228 comments It depends on the book and whether it's a hard copy or an audiobook.

message 63: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca Cecil | 272 comments Depends on the book. If it is a really good murder mystery not as long as a Historical Romance ( which I do not read that often), or slow going book like The Man Called Ove which was so slow and boring until I was obviously page 200 something when it finally started getting good. Those book take a lot longer.

message 64: by Courtney (new)

Courtney (courtsneverendingtbr) | 18 comments depends, if I'm really Into it I can finish one in 2/3 days.

message 65: by Christine (new)

Christine Mathieu | 948 comments It also depends on the font and how much space there is between the lines. That's why I prefer hardcovers, the font is larger and the space between the text lines is larger unlike paperbacks which take me forever to read.

message 66: by Eesha (new)

Eesha Muni (eeshamuni) | 24 comments 7-10 days, however this is factoring in school days etc where I am not reading. It does greatly vary if I am annotating the book. I am currently reading a 600 page book thoroughly annotated and that has taken me over a month to read.

message 67: by Sara (new)

Sara | 69 comments For me depends for the period of the year because I'm at high school so sometimes I don't find time to read. But if I really like the book. 5 days, if it's a "normal" book 2 month sometimes. But it depends.

message 68: by Izzati (new)

Izzati (izzatiidrus) | 10 comments These days, a week.

message 69: by Kimiko (new)

Kimiko | 23 comments Physical books--a few days. Audiobooks take longer (approx 7-10 days) because I listen while commuting back/forth to work only.

message 70: by Alexia (new)

Alexia | 8 comments It depends if I’m liking the book or not. Sometimes I can finish a good book in two days, and other times I drag a book on for a month because I’ve gotten bored of it.

message 71: by Christine (new)

Christine Mathieu | 948 comments I stopped wasting time on boring books...life is too short.

message 72: by Gabi (new)

Gabi Marquez | 3 comments it greatly depends on how many pages are in the book and how big the words are. I tend to read 100 pages a day during the summer so a normal 300-400 page book takes me about 3-4 days and longer books take me about a week.

message 73: by Alex C ★彡 (new)

Alex C ★彡 | 7 comments You guys are crazy!!! I’m a super slow reader so if it’s a book around 200-300 probably 5-8 days and if it’s 400 and above around 2-3 weeks. It also depends on how busy I am ofc.

message 74: by Wadeea (new)

Wadeea | 16 comments It varies from one book to another. Some of them take one day to finish, while others last a whole year, which is terrible.

message 75: by Katherine ⸆⸉ (new)

Katherine ⸆⸉ depends on my mood but most of the time 1-2 weeks

message 76: by div (new)

div | 2 comments It really just depends on my mood! Some times thick books (500-600 pages) books like fourth wing it took me a day or less (15 hours for that one) and with other books of a similar thickness it can take me 2-3 weeks or even 2 months to even touch it again

Muneeb 🇵🇸 (0xmuneeb) | 36 comments Idk, few days if I read daily

Justine 🦊🍂 | 15 comments About 1-2 days for average sized book but lately I’ve had some chunkers so been about 3-4 days.

message 79: by JoyReaderGirl1 (new)

JoyReaderGirl1 | 25 comments About a day or day and a half if I’m into it depending on length and what’s going on in my life

message 80: by Cel (new)

Cel | 26 comments 3-4 days 2 days if it is really good

message 81: by Sam (new)
