Error - Description may only include links to other pages on Goodreads

Hello there! I am a new librarian and I’ve come across a problem when trying to add a new edition of a book. All other new editions that I’ve recently added seem good, however when I try to add this book in particular it says “1 error prohibited this book from being saved: Description may only include links to other pages on Goodreads”. I am confused as I don’t type in any links? Any idea what might be the problem?

This is the info for the new edition that I am trying to add in case it needs someone more experienced as a librarian:

The problem is most likely the "18.30 ч." and "18.30 часа" in the description.

The programming misinterprets a dot directly followed by a character as an external hyperlink.

Try changing the time to "18:30".

Now when I search it by ISBN on my computer it shows up, but when I do it on a phone it doesn't. I hope that it just needs more time.

If you are using the app, it is notoriously slow. It can take up to 2 days. The best way is to search by ISBN.

Hi, Olga! I can try help with bulgarian editions. However, I am a brand new librarian and I am not confident enough yet when it comes to combining and merging. But I already got the hang of adding new editions and editing. So sure, if you can create the Bulgarian thread or explain to me how to do it myself, I'd try do as much as I can in my free time.

I added the Bulgarian thread to the list. I can read Bulgarian (more or less), so I can help with difficult requests. Feel free to write me.

My first question in this group as a new librarian (last year) was also about this bug with the description. I memorized the entire manual and help pages and couldn’t find the answer anywhere. Some things can only be learned with experience.
