Setting a different default cover

Hi, hope you're well!
I've added alternative covers for the Amelia Warwick books. I know that they'll become the default ones if they're the more rated ones (or something to that end), or if the author asks for this. I am the author, I'm only using a pseudonym. However, I don't want the Josephine Barly + Amelia Warwick author profiles to become connected. Is it possible if I request that the new covers be the default ones, but the profiles remain separate, or do I need to create a new Goodreads author profile to ask for this?

Librarians cannot change default editions, registered author can. You would need to claim author profile to do this.
