Okay so I’m really proud of chapter 1 so here it is for sneak peek 1 lol

Chapter 1
When I was a kid, I never thought about how my life would go. Even if I had, I would never have guessed correctly. I doubt anybody could have truly guessed, but that's alright, I honestly don’t think I would have wanted to know. Had I known what would happen, the secrets I would learn, and the worlds that would be uncovered, I would have run screaming.
I’ve told bits and pieces of my story, but never the whole thing. I never would have even wondered when I was young and innocent that my life would be like stories I had heard. But that's how it went, and looking back, I wouldn’t have changed it. There was no reason to, and I know now, how necessary it was.
As I sit, typing these words, I reflect now. I realize now what I did wrong, who I should have trusted, who I should not have trusted. Well, I suppose it's time to share my story. This is the story of Aphrodite, a name well-known by my kind, and others that were unknown to each other before me. Except, it's not just my story. Cesar was the only reason I survived, and because of that his view is important too. He didn’t want his own view in my story, but I convinced him to write it. Thank you Cesar, and to you dear reader, I hope you are able to appreciate my story in a way I wasn’t.
