Backstory:

It all started with his father, Lucas. Formerly part of the Followers of the apocalypse back on the Boneyard. Proving himself not to only be a brilliant Doctor and scientist, but a very prominent research gatherer as well. His persistence and determination to collect information from different parties from the wastes, both beneficial and harmful, caught the eye of the NCR back on Shady Sands. He was then recruited into the NCR, hired to spy on faction movements such as the infamous Mr.House, The Brotherhood of steel and the NCR's movements, as well, in the Mojave. He chose Goodsprings as his new home, a quiet little town, perfect for someone who wouldn't want to be disturbed. That's where he met Alexandria, a beautiful sweet girl, who lived with her brother, sister-in-law and niece. For an innocent woman living in a ghost town, she was tough, witty and sharp . At first, Alexandria was very curious of the strange hardened man who moved in without a word. Her big brother, Ben, insisted not to approach him. Yet, several days after he moved in, she was overwhelmed with curiosity about that strange man who barely left his home. So she decided to visit him. She knocked on the door but no one answered. As innocent as she was, she was as stubborn as a mule. She decided to break in his house instead no later to find the unconscious man on the floor. He was then brought to Doc. Mitchel, the town doctor. His lack of sleep and working to exhaustion caused him to collapse. Alexandria would come to visit him almost everyday. Later realizing that the man she thought was a serious, tough, asshole type kind of guy, was actually sweet, kind and had a sense of humor. Her kind and beautiful charm got him to fall in love with her. As their relationship progressed they decided to get married. And on August 5, 2260, they had a son, Michael. That's when Lucas decided to settle down and end his occupation with the NCR.

Their lives were simple and happy. Michael's mother tended the farm while his father traded for supplies. 6 years passed, Alexandria's brother, Benjamin, came to visit them only to find their home covered in blood. As the two cold bodies lie there soaked in blood, stabbed to death and assassinated, Michael, only 6 at that time, stood in the corner in shock, not blinking an eye. He was then adopted by his uncle and aunt. As he was growing up, he never really talks about what happened that day and never questioned it. Surprisingly, as Michael grew up, he was a happy young man, witty, charming, and stubborn just like his mother but strong willed like his father but he does suffer with emotional distress at times. His fear of being alone and loosing someone he cares about are some of the emotional flaws he has gained from loosing his parents. When he turned 18, he wanted to leave Goodsprings but his uncle forbade him from going any further than a foot out of Goodsprings, a promise he made to his sister to keep him safe.

That's when he met Marshall, a caravaneer looking to settle down temporarily on Goodsprings after he barley made it out from a group of hooligans that wanted his caravan. A bright, perky young man always looking for adventure and a lust for discovery. He was sweet, gentle and kind. Always willing to lend a hand. And Michael, as curious as he is, wanted to know every single thing the young caravaneer knew about the wastes. He was promising to the benefit of Goodsprings. Michael needed to get close to his as much as possible to know every single thing he knew. Visiting him in his shop became an everyday habit, but his company is much appreciated. The stories, legends, and experiences Marshall faced out in the wastes, good or bad, made him yearn to roam the outside world even more. Marshall, on the other hand, had great interest on the witty, handsome, charming kid. Their relationship together grew the more time they spent together and slowly progressed into a romantic one.

2 years has past and Marshall suggested to move to new vegas to work for the Crimson Caravans, a dream of his. Gaining his uncle's trust to leave Goodsprings, they were on their way to a new life and a new beginning but it was short lived, however. They were ambushed by a group of raiders. Trying to defend Michael, he got himself shot instead. Michael took cover but had to made the hard decision to back down and hide. He soon came back as the raiders left only to find Marshall having his last few breaths. He later died (no shit)

Alone and hopeless, he thought about turning back but he was determined to get into vegas. He decided to work in a near by town called Primm and that's where he got the job as a courier. The platinum chip, an odd choice of a package to deliver, Michael knew there was something up, but he never expected to get shot for it. The next thing he remembers after that night is waking up in Doc. Mitchel's clinic. Determined to find out the secrets on what the platinum chip posses.

Why/How? He's still haunted by the fact that maybe he could have done something to save him.

Other memories/events that still affects him/her and why/how: When Amata Almodovar, the love of his life, sent him back to the wastes and banned him from ever turning back. Him being always bullied by Butch has affected him as well

Biggest role model: His father.

Why? Even through everything he has gone through, his father always made it a point to keep his son safe and to give him the best life he could have. He also wanted to save lives, the good and the bad, by creating Project Purity.

Biggest disillusions from childhood: That he himself was born in the wastes and everything he was told about his birth and Vault 101 was a lie.


Backstory: Gabriel was born on Washington DC, counterpart to what he was lead to believe. Growing up in the vault was great. He had many questions that no one wanted to answer but still asks them either way. He was a very smart and gifted child but wasn't very good with socializing and fitting in. He only had one friend which was Amata Almodovar. She always seemed to understand Gabriel and later views him as someone very misunderstood. He always stood up for her especially against Butch, which at one point gave him a scar on his right eye.

After his G.O.A.T. exam, Gabriel went through a series of lessons on religion since he got to be the vaults new chaplain. This is when he didn't want to stay in the vault anymore, but explore the outside world. The real, and harsh world. When he reached the age of 19, his father unexpectedly left the vault for reasons unknown and caused a lot of chaos within the vault including a radroach infestation. He was able to save Butch's mom and to reconcile the hate between them. Before leaving the vault, Amata and Gabe were able to say their final goodbyes as well as a farewell kiss.

But the outside world he always wanted to see, was not what he expected.
